Smart lighting systems to face today’s and tomorrow’s challenges

As cities continue to grow and face multiple challenges, they need technology that opens up choices and enables them to navigate a changing future.

Open and interoperable systems open up a myriad of possibilities, enabling towns and cities to integrate existing infrastructure assets and expand systems as their own needs evolve. Download this white paper to read how open and interoperable systems enable cities to:

  • create an innovative ecosystem;
  • integrate existing assets;
  • choose preferred vendors and technology;

Interoperable Schréder EXEDRA connects all lighting assets to help Haringey meet decarbonisation goals

Cities account for over 70% of global CO2 emissions and urban leaders are turning to innovative solutions to play their part in the fight against climate change. The London Borough of Haringey launched its Climate Change Action Plan to reduce its carbon emissions and help London become net zero carbon by 2030.

In 2020, having upgraded all of its street lights to LED technology, it decided to connect its entire lighting infrastructure to achieve further savings and additional connectivity.

Schréder EXEDRA connects over 15,000 assets, including Schréder and non-Schréder luminaires, to improve safety for residents, streamline operations and reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
